That doesn't really show that the configuration resets.
Also make sure that the server is offline when you change the configuration file.
As I said earlier: Even if it changes, it is not applied.
As you can see, I added the dimensions - and even a few more - to try to work around the problem but as shown in the video, it doesn't work.
Can you please take a video that shows the problem
Then the changes you made are probably invalid, It's a typical behavior that mods just reset the configuration file if they are invalid
I made the same change in a single player world and it worked.
Just to be sure:
You modify the settings just with commands? Not by editing the configuration files?
I change it directly in the configuration file, but it has no effect.
Do you have a modpack installed or is it a custom modded server?
It's a custom.
I've been playing on a minecraft 1.12.2 server with some friends. I have followed the path of Abyssalcraft.
The problem is the fact that every time I enter a new dimension, other than the Nether or End, the mobs from other mods keep being spawned.
I've been changing mod settings via server, but it doesn't work. Even though the file is saved, the parasites continue to spawn in abyssalcraft dimensions.
The most annoying part is that the new settings work in single player.
