Can you explain why some plugins can be added even if they are not providing direct download but for FAWE it's not possible? Even if it's already available to install but outdated version

If a plugin can't be downloaded directly from a supported site, it can't be added.
Yes, but SkinRestorer plugin also can't be directly downloaded from spigot, but It's still available to install and refers to spigot page

Hello, I've tried to install FastAsyncWorldEdit plugin but saw that Aternos refers to the seems liek abandoned bukkit page instead spigot
Suggestion page says that plugin can only be downloaded via an external site, but bukkit & spigot page refers to the same github page
