Straightforward question; I just don't want to break my server

Title. I run the only available version of Magma (1.12.2) and I've almost finished making a modded sandbox;

but I'm stuck on the last part, which is making some form of method to buy and sell modded items with a plugin (as no mods support EssentialsEco). If there is any way to sell Modded Items with the Essentials currency, please lmk

I want to change the formatting of the text via EssentialsX (1.12.2), which is in the EssentialsChat section. I was told that

EssentialsChat is installed alongside EssentialsX, but I checked my server Plugins folder, and EssentialsChat was not there.

I've tried just editing it without EssentialsChat, but it doesn't make the changes.

Are there any other ways to do this?

Otherwise, how do I get EssentialsX Chat to work?

I've been having trouble making a Rank System
Are there any plugins that you can use to turn chat from: '<NHJT> hello' to 'NHJT >> hello' as well as plugins that can make ranks?
Don't say EssentialsX because I've tried, and it doesn't work without EssentialsX Chat, which I am unable to find.
