Yes can add more mods to your server. For adding mods and plugins together you can use mohist. Note that mohist 1.12.2, 1.16.5 are stable and 1.18 is still under development

Check if the version of cfm matches both server and client side

I am not sure but maybe an issue with astralsorcery or cyclicmagic. Try remove astralsorcery first and if it doesn't work then try removing cyclicmagic

which server software do you use?

It's not possible to add plugins or mods from GitHub.

You can't use the same world in older version for obvious reasons. You can only try the possible solutions
