  • IDK if youll need it but I'll say regardless.

    so you can go to files------> server.properties

    if you scroll youll see an option called OP permission level.
    its normally set to 4. you can reduce it to 1 and save it.

    then go to the console and type the command op <player_name>

    so basically after this the player will be able to see the console logs inside the game.

    so if you gave your friend the op. if you type cheats in the console he wil be able to see the cheat getting executed.
    but it can get annoying since everytime the server saves changes that will be displayed on the player screen as well.

    This way you need not worry if your friend will use cheats
