I am living in Germany and want to play with my friends from Brazil, but when my friend tries to enter the server, she receives the message "Could not connect to server Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset" (we are using mods and I can enter the server but she can't). Does it have something to do with the region? What should I do?

Tell you friend to make sure that they have EXACT same mods installed on both their PC and the server. It is not enough to simply have the same mods installed, they must also be installed in the exact same version. Likewise, the version of the mod loader (Fabric/Forge) must be identical.
If the mod versions match and they are facing the error for more than a few days please follow this article to help us and your ISP identify the problem: https://support.aternos.org/hc/en-us/articles/360027235671Please read the article carefully and don't skip any steps, questions or suggestions.
Following this article will not instantly fix your problem. It only helps to find the root cause which can then be fixed by the network provider.
