What inspired you to make such an amazing service?

    What was the main inspiration to make such a powerful and unifying service? Seriously though, You guys are providing a free server to an infinite amount of players, With unlimited plugins and player slots, 24/7 Service (As long as people on are your server bc you gatta save materials) and an extremely fast server! As long as I know, My server has been running at top speed! The only time there is connection lag is either when we are doing severe world edit or when there is a ping problem. So, you are giving all of that away for free? Fast servers, custom server IPs, Custom MOTDs, Unlimited Plugins and Slots, Any server versions, Modpacks ALL THE GOODIES YOU COULD WANT ON A SERVER for free? I must know why. So, thankyou for such a good service, Without it I wouldn't be able to host my own server where people of all around the world can connect with eachother to play games, create awesome builds and much more.

    You should ask @Matthias for the inspiration, he was one of the founders of this project.


    Everyone of the team members, all developers, engineers and supporters, are working on Aternos in their free time next to school or work and the other stuff. And it is not really easy to organise this big project with more than 4.000.000 Users after 4 years. We are able to make this possible because of the advertisments on our website. That's why we can offer you the servers without want you to pay.
