I'm trying to grow a 2x2 spruce tree , but it doesn't work. I'm in 1.20 and it works fine in singleplayer, so idk. Anyone know why ? Is it the same bug that happened in 2020 here : Can't grow 2x2 trees? ?

No, it is not the same bug that happened in that forum post — it was a snapshot bug and was fixed.
Does it have enough space? Are there any blocks blocking it from above or beside it?

with 1.18.2 it work fine
