Server Setup with Roguelike and Dungeons

I'm trying to setup a small test server to see if I can get a modpack working obviously it didn't work out for me. The modpack i'm using is Roguelike and Dugeons, I got the modpack installed and it works on singleplayer but when I try to start up my server it's says that the server is vanilla in the server list despite the fact that I also have it installed on aternos too, when I try joining it, it boots me out and tells me to join some other server that doesn't work along with a URL for help. I have a good feeling that this has something to do with the curse launcher but I don't really know for sure because this is pretty much my first time playing around with mods.

I've already reinstallled the server a couple of times and it still keeps telling me it's vanilla

On the server list where I go to join it, there's a big V next to the server name telling me it's vanilla. Also do I have to get Forge? Because I thought I only needed the Curse launcher because it's a modpack that's available on there.

Actually I got it fixed without having to install Forge, I've said it earlier but I'll say it again the modpack I have uses Curseforge, Twitch, Curse Launcher, whatever you want to call it, it doesn't use normal forge.
