How to set up static IP?

Hello, I need to set up a static ip to my server, because I'm playing with the hexxit mod and every time ip changes, MapWriter is resetted and turns black, like at the beginning. Any suggestions?

thanks for the answer, I have imagined that, because every time that I restart the server, mapwriter creates a new folder reneamed with the dynamic ip, so thanks anyway
