Every time I do a command such as help or gamemode, even some plugin commands, they do not work.
What's going on, and how can I fix this?

This has been happening since I wiped all the plugins and uploaded new ones to the server when I made a new world.
I don't get an error, it just doesn't do anything. It doesn't say "unknown command", so obviously it knows what the commands are.
This is what plugins I have installed (on CraftBukkit-1.8 Experimental server):
Latest versions of AdminCMD, Adminfun, Anticheat, ClickWarp (1.3.5), EssentialsAntiBuild, EssentialsChat, Essentials, EssentialsSpawn, LapisPortals, MobspawnSettings, PermissionsEx (1.23.1), SimplePrefix, WorldEdit (6.0), and WorldGuard (6.0.0 Beta 5). -
CraftBukkit 1.8 is still experimental, so expect bugs like the ones you have. Did you try it with Spigot yet? What about checking the console?

Maybe a specific plugin is causing this. What happens if you start your server without plugins (Vanilla)?

Well, I guess you can't have AdminCMD and Essentials installed at the same time, because both plugins are providing identical commands, which causes incompatibility. Decide for one plugin and delete the other, then everything should work fine.

A lot of my commands aren't working either. Here are the plugins i have craft arrows, customarmors, essentials, Freds_Awesome_Jetpack_Plugin, godPowers, Plugin Metrics, EliteWeapons, iControlU, PowerMining, SIlk Spawners, and World Edit. I cant use a lot of commands such as /help /gamemode /tp and many more. Plz help me.

Essentials causes this. If you remove every essentials file, they work again. I just posted a new thread suggestion beta versions of 1.8 Essentials to be added to the plugin list so people could use it. As of now no essentials plugin works for me. I'm using Spigot 1.8.7 Experimental. Any 1.8 version (Bukkit or Spigot) essentials will not work, and it ends up disabling all commands. This happens when Essentials enters emergency mode.
