Making modpacks more playable

    I was wondering if there's any way to reduce lag or anything when playing modpacks. Me and my friend really want to play rebirth of the night together but it's hard because rebirth of the night isn't compatible with LAN, and neither of us have a beefy enough computer to make our own server. This is our best bet but the server is quite laggy and takes a long time to start up :/
