  • Hello you lovely Aternos folks!

I would like to request that the mod "LambDynamicLights" be added.

LambDynamicLights uses the Fabric API, and allows the use of dynamic light sources held in the player's hand (torches, lanterns) or generated by mobs (such as Creeper explosions). It is community-recommended for users of the "Sodium" alternative rendering system (already approved on Aternos), as Sodium's changes can make several other dynamic light mods incompatible. LambDynamicLights is compatible with both "Phosphor" and "Lithium" (also on Aternos), the other two Sodium-related mods/APIs. Dynamic light rendering is completed client-side instead of server-side, so the impact should be negligible and only up to the performance of a client's computer.

On Curse, it currently has 9,687 downloads in the month since its release. In single-player testing, it seems to be highly stable and has an almost negligible performance impact. It supports Minecraft versions 1.15 and 1.16 (though 1.16 is the version I'd prefer to use, if it comes down to one or another).
