Mods made the server outdated?

    Hey guys! Ive been trying to figure out how to get mods to work (the server used to run fine using vanilla and with friends}. So on the server homepage i clicked on software,modpacks,cure and then Kinda crazy craft i installed it and and there was no problems. So i started up the server and i noticed it required minecraft 1.15.0 so i opened minecraft using 1.15.0 and i directly connected to the server but it said it was outdated. Can anyone help pls?

    You are doing everything wrong. Modpack version and Server version are different.

    The error "outdated server" occured because you were opening minecraft with newer version while the server was in 1.7.10 (older verison).

    This is the setup for the modpack: Server version: 1.7.10 ; Modpack verison: 1.15.0). Therefore you have to open Minecraft 1.7.10 in order to play.

    Ok i give up it says to use forge so i install forge on the server and it replaces the modpack. So when i load into the game everything is glichy and blocks arnt right.
