so it deletes unused chunks from players? if so i cant use it as my map is a custom one
-
Your map was made with custom software like worldpainter?
-
most likey its this https://earth.motfe.net/map/#1_4000_topdown/0/5/274/-1327/64
-
You can't upload such a world to Aternos
-
i did one time
did the limit decrease?? -
it was at 200MB and then was increased to 1GB. We have never allowed uploads of larger worlds
-
well thats a bruh moment firefox made me download a 1.48gb zip file so i expanded it and recompressed it now its 921mb in a zip file thats that weird i guess it wasnt fully compressed?? idk anyways the problems solved
-
I am very much doubting it got so much smaller by just rezipping
-
idk something happened when i rezipped it
-
ones 900mb and the other 1.48gb same world just ones rezipped
-
ZIP archives are not necessarily compressed at all, so this is absolutely possible.

ooooooo good to know thanks

more world problems T_T so i uploaded it as i got it under the limit and it got error 103 and the world was removed from the worlds page?? idk how anyway i tryed again for like 10 times then error 105 happened so i switched form firefox to safari and got the error 198 T_T all together tryed uploadling like 20 times and the only thing that i found works to make another server and upload there but i cant do the cause im working on a public server
any ideas?? (sorry for the trouble) im going to try again tomorrow unless i get a response before -
If you get error 103, reloading the page should fix the problem.
If you get error 105 or 198, the solution would be to use the legacy upload. Error 198 could also be related to your browser and error 105 could be invalid characters.
