Environs++ is a mod that adds a modest amount of new biomes, though it's a lot lighter than mods such as Biomes O' Plenty. The new biomes are created to fit in with the original Minecraft aesthetic, staying as true to the vanilla experience as possible. It adds only a few extra kinds of trees such as pine trees. A few of the added biomed includes mushroom rainforests, roofed swamps, canyons, and many other cool biomes.
