Renaming Mods

    I'm playing a spifey-esque prank on some of my friends and don't want them to see what mod I'm actually having them install. I tried renaming the file but I tested it and the server thought since the original mod name wasnt in the mods folder, I didn't have it. Please help!

    Renaming the mods would cause the server to break.

    But hiding mods from your friends is nearly impossible though, as your friends have to install the same mods and mod's version like in your server so as to let the player join your server.
