  • Do you think that being able to download our server backups is a useful feature? 21

The result is only visible to the participants.

I know that I can download the world from my world tab, but that will download the world in a state in which it was when I've uploaded it. Meaning you will get an old version of it...

Perhaps you could add a feature to allow us to download our backups of the world since they contain the "up to date" version of it. I have seen some other people requesting this and feel like this could be a very useful. This could be used for adding new data packs, making new features without interruption, performing tests, etc.

Or, maybe you could change the "place" in the Google Drive where it is saved from the inaccessible/hidden folder to a folder/path that would allow us to see it and download it.

No, it will download the state that is currently saved on your server. You think it's an old version because playerdata is stored differently in singleplayer, any other copy of the world would have the same problem.

Backups include a lot more than your world. This would this would also allow you to modify them which we don't want. Like I explained above this has nothing to do with your problem.

OK, thank you for responding so quickly and letting me know.! I tested it and it worked.

  • That's not possible from a technical view.

    1. Add an js that creates buttons with class download-backup-button in that backup's <div/>

    2. Add css for download-backup-button

3.add <a href="backup link(from accses of google drive we gave you)" download> on that button's code

    4. Add php to get those links

You can download your world on the worlds page: https://aternos.org/worlds/

This world is always up to date and the exact same as the world saved inside backups.

There are no plans to add an option to download other files like plugins, mainly for copyright reasons.
