  • Recently I started up a server with FTB Ultimate Reloaded(which was very easy and intuitive, if I do say so myself), and I was thinking, "This modpack is missing VeinMiner and Corail Tombstones". I realized that I could not add individual mods on top of the modpack already installed on the server, so I was thinking: would it be possible to allow us to add individual mods alongside a pre-existing modpack installed on our servers?

Maybe this could be done by, say, having the "Mods" tab like with a server that has Forge installed on it, and you can add extra mods to your server alongside the modpack the same way you would with a Forge-equipped server. Or, maybe there could be a section under the "Modpacks" software section where you can create your own custom modpack, and then just insert all of the files you want rather than installing Forge on the server and installing each individual mod, which is quite tedious for a large pack with 100+ or even 200+ mods.

If this could be implemented, I would be extremely grateful, but I do understand that things like this are case-sensitive.

Thank you to the best Minecraft server hosting site on the internet!<3

  • I was thinking about that, too; anyone can upload anything, and anything can be malware.

However, if you have Forge installed on your server, there is a "Mods" tab on the left, where you can select and install any mods that Aternos supports. I was thinking that if this "Mods" tab could be incorporated into any server with a modpack installed, you could have a modpack installed on your server(from those which Aternos supports) and maybe an extra few that the modpack left out viz the "Mods" tab, if it is incorporated. 'That way, nothing is dragged from your computer, rather, all the files would be Aternos's.
