Is AFK-ing allowed if there are other players active

Hello. I was wondering if AFK-ing is allowed if there are other players active. I know that AFKing to keep the server up 24/7 is not allowed and so there is an idle timeout of 10 minutes. You can bypass this with water flowing but im pretty sure that's banned for keeping the server up 24/7, but is it banned for just afking while other players are on the server and are playing normally? i want to afk so that my farms produce items but im not sure if it can get my server deleted...
