Light block commands not working. How do I fix this?

So, my server is on 1.17, recently updated and whatnot. Went looking for light blocks, browsed around the interwebs and got the command to do it. But when I tried to do it on my server, it said the block was not found. Entered the commands for a while to see what was up (and modified them a little bit to fit my username and stuff) like "/give @p light{BlockStateTag:{level:"7"}} 1" and other variations but to no avail. Tried to get the light block on a personal world of mine - which worked, but in my aternos server it seems to be pretty much hopeless. Does anybody know what is causing this? Alright. I've tried it - it does work just fine on a plain Paper server. This issue seems to certainly have to do with the plugins on the server it doesn't work on, but I'm not exactly sure which ones in specific
