Is Aternos able to use old server files for new modpack version?

    Greetings,

    There are several modpacks out there that gives the server file in the first release of their modpack. I was wondering that if it is possible to use the old server files with new modpack version.

    If this being a possible thing, a lot of more modpacks can be added, but as of now this isn't a sure thing.

    I try to help people, but I have no experience with plugins nor Forge.

    I see, so let us say for example: Server File 0.2 cannot be compatible with 0.3 modpack version.

    Is it not possible for the staff team to add older versions of modpack to have a compatible server file? I mean the modpack won't be updated and you may possibly lack features or have changes.

    The problem is that the launcher on your pc always installed the last recommended version.

    Provided older files would result in people always having issues connecting to their server - or they'll complain that the server is outdated. That's not really our beer.
