Can't play adventure/survival maps server loads randomly generated vanilla world

so i try to upload the .zip file for an adventure map so i can play with my friend but I've tried it with a couple of maps but it always loads a randomly generated world. any help I'm attaching both maps in case of reference. on second thought too big. linking dropbox.

Here's the problem though. These zips contain a lot more than just the world. It's a custom adventure map so there's bound to be more stuff in it. I have never dealt with custom maps and servers before usually I just put it in my .minecraft/saves files and single player worked. I don't know what to remove and what to keep from the zips. If someone could point me to a detailed step by step or try explaining it in this forum that'd be greatly appreciated.

P.S. your MoTD add doesn't work and it becomes increasingly annoying to wait 30 minutes because the map didn't load correctly and i have to re-upload the map and wait another 30 minutes before I can see if it's fixed.
