modded game keeps freezing and crashing

every time i open the game, it will end up freezing horribly or crashing. i know that it is not the mods doing this, because my friends have played with the same exact modpack. ive tried allocating more ram, but it has barely helped, and even when i can get to the singleplayer world screen, trying to enter or create a world just ends with either a permanent freeze or q crash. i dont know what to do and im at my wits end, anyone have advice?

do you have any advice on what to do? ive been able to run mods before, though not as many as ive been trying lately.
