Why can't we download the mods directly from the mod folder from the files menu?

I think there should be a button on the mods folder (near to the trash can icon) made to download it, just like with the world folder. I can't express how quicker it would be to just download the whole mod pack with a click, rather than spending additional 30 seconds per mod to find the right version
