Random Nether portals appearing

    Hello,

    Random nether portals keep appearing in the same spot in my server. I thought my friend made the first one, but two more appeared when I was playing on my own. I keep breaking them, but another one will appear right next to the broken ones.

    They seem to appear when I go through the nether portal in my base, and then try to go back to the over world right away (usually because I forgot something)

    I’ve attached a picture of the three nether portals that have appeared.


    Please help

    This could be from mobs in the nether going through a portal, if a Gahst had Brocken the portal, if the portal on the other dimension linked to it is used, a new one will appear.
