Seeing as the new 1.18 will change terrain generation, is there a way to update the server without having to reset the world and loose all the progress?

Seeing as the new 1.18 will change terrain generation, is there a way to update the server without having to reset the world and loose all the progress?
Once you update to 1.18 your world won't get deleted. The new world generation will be applied on the unloaded chunks in your world.

no it wont delete your world if u change but for me after update all new update like new snowy mountain that high dosnt work if i tp there it only show ocean
