I've seen posts like this one where the ads are blocked, but for me I can still see the ads despite the adblocker warnings appearing around the ads and stopping me every time the site switches state. I've disabled my ad blocker, allowed the site on my antivirus and i've tested any other extension with site altering abilities, they all still cause this problem...

If you don't see ads (besides the ones for exaroton), something on your computer or in your network is blocking them.
Make sure that
- You don't have any browser add-ons installed that could block ads or modify the content of websites
- You don't have any ad blocking software installed on your computer (e.g. AdGuard or antivirus software that also blocks ads)
- There is no network filter installed in your home network
