Can't join server

    Hi I'll give the brief rundown of this error I've been having. No clue how to fix it.


    Running forge 1.18.2 with compatible mods that work, I've tested everything in singleplayer and there was no issue at all. The server is able to start up with all the same mods, I've checked the files everything matches. The server is able to start up just fine but no one could enter it. We all received the same error message:


    Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: unable to fit 2532363 into 3

    That's just a weird comparison. Both singleplayer and multiplayer are totally different

    Share your server log using the share button. Also, share your client log


    1. open your minecraft installation path

    (enter %appdata%/.minecraft in the file explorer )

    2. open the logs folder

    3. open the "latest" or "latest.log" file with a text editor

    4. copy and paste the content of the file to https://mclo.gs/
