Difficulty: Does the issue persist without the MultiWorld plugin
Ranks: A config reset usually happens when you manually modify the configuration files but the new content of the file has an invalid syntax

Then continue removing mod by mod and check each time you removed one if the issue persists.

We usually only offer the latest and recommended build of each forge version.
A single mod requiring a specific Forge version is unfortunately not enough demand for adding another specific Forge version.
Note that usually mods don't need an exact Forge version, they usually need a newer version than the one displayed.

I mean, what if you travel to the same location on SP as on the server?

- The world is not a 1.16.5 world
