For the addons, it is a .php file but when i try to create it, nothing happens.
This is intended.
.php is blocked

Try to remove mod by mod and restart/test your server each time.
Afterwards you know which mod causes the problem.

The file manager makes it look like it only allows the editing of plugins. Just saying.
That is supposed to be like that
And to Roman, there are other settings other than view distance, and letting controlled editing of them would be a major upgrade.
Tell us which settings you're talking about and why do you want to change them and we'll consider it to add a option for it
