I mean I acknowledge how hard it is but like, have something that really motivates users to keep up with you, either it is ram increasement, hosting improved performance, or any other thing that actually motivates live users to keep up with you. It's open for every1 taht might be the reason it is bad? Okay feature an auto deletion like I said, would be the best to free up space and increasing ram for users.
You're messing up two different things here.
Ram is only used by servers which are currently online. Servers stop when no one plays on them to free up RAM for different users.
Deleting old servers wouldn't increase performance, it would only free up storage capacity on our storage system where offline servers are stored. Also we already do that: https://support.aternos.org/hc…retention-of-server-data-
Staff are showing no interest in feedbacks, just replying with the same thing always, dwindling everything down wont be good for either us or aternos, so better to try and fix, I hope you take that into consideration and star showing actions cuz we really need a better performance for the only good free host out there, I hope I wont get an air -head reply of the same thing we see everytime.
That's not true.
rn you're stating that ram with 50+ plugins and 10 players would be enough and I know that. .
Where do we say that?
We monitor Aternos, its servers, systems and components very closely and with great detail.
We know what the general performance is and where the fire is.
It's simply a fact that most of the lag is caused by plugins or mods, or as now, by the massively worse performance of the minecraft server software (1.13 and up)
Every day over 150k different servers get started on Aternos, we can not assist everyone in troubleshooting their plugins and mods. This is just not doable, even if we are 30 times more people than rn.
You're also talking about a server with about 50 plugins. That you can join your server at all is actually a miracle. More RAM doesn't help.
Minecraft is the most modular game there is.
The amount of possibilities in terms of expansion, modification and customization are limitless.
But it is also, in terms of performance, the biggest problem.
