That modgroup system seems to be new.
Unfortunately there is no way to implement that in our system in a way that it is easy to use or understandable.
we'll remove the pack.

We can't do anything. It means that there is no mod version available for the minecraft version you've installed.
Switch to another mc version of choose mods which are compatible with 1.8.9
