Paid Plugins: People use our service to get a minecraft server for free as they don't have money or are not allowed to rent a server. People who buy plugins have the money to buy/rent a server and host minecraft on their own. Also integrating the spiget plugin store to our webstore would require that people connect their spigot account to their aternos account which is currently not supported from our side and also not supported from spigotmc's site.

Devs: People who want to test their plugins can do that on their pc by running the minecraft server on localhost.

In the last years we've added many many stuff to our system to secure it and the minecraft servers running on it.
Main Problem: Unfortunately it would still be possible to bypass our systems regulations so that your server could be kept up 24/7, which is completely out of our intention and unfair against the other users.
Also uploaded plugins are executed on our servers and people who know how plugins work know, that they are not really secured by the bukkit api itself. So they can basically do what they want. We have the possibility of detect abuses, but should we risk that?

The time will come when this will maybe possible, but certainly not in the near future.

Changing the software from vanilla to bukkit/spigot and vice versa does not require a reinstall.
If you want to change to mcpe/mod/modpack and vice versa it is required to reinstall the server due to compatibility problems between the mods and the server softwares.

Please install the modpack via the technic launcher on your client.

The version available on Aternos is 1.1.2, aso you can see here this is also the latest available version.

Could you please post the exact links to that plugins

Factions relies on MassiveCore and MassiveCore provides the functions used to store configs and other data in multiple ways.
By default it stores everything in flat files (that's what we want) in a folder called mstore in the main directory of your server. (not your plugin directory)
That's a bit stupid but we can fix that really easy.

• First go to your MassiveCore config: https://aternos.org/files/MassiveCore/conf.json
• Edit the "flatfile" line from "flatfile://mstore" to "flatfile://plugins/mstore".
• Save the file.
• Start your server
• All config files are now located here: https://aternos.org/files/mstore

Note that this will reset all your factions and regions.

I've already done this for you two @sd_captain & @fireman1x, but you can also revert this, if you need your old factions.
Just change the flatfile config back and restart your server.
