OpenTerrainGenerator is probably incompatible with Magma.

You can install different versions of the modpack on your computer.

This is done in the launcher you use to play the modpack. You have to make sure that the modpack on your computer is running on the same version as the server.

1) Make sure that you have installed the same mods on your computer as on the server. Note that also the mod versions must match

2) If it still not working try to delete the config folder on your computer and server

3) If it still not working share your client log which is located in .minecraft/logs/latest.log on your computer
