Ich vermute, dass du dir selbst eine Permission gegeben hast welche das Schlagen/Schaden bekommen unterbindet. Am besten du postest deine PEX Konfiguration mal hier. Gut wäre auch zu wissen, ob das Problem auftritt wenn du dich de-opst.
Zu 2:
Das ist ein Bug am Whitelist System von uns. Wir sind bereits dran das Problem zu beheben.

You have to install the same version on your client.

The currently installed version on Aternos servers is:
Version: R1.9-339
Minecraft Version: 1.10.2

The log is only available while your server is online/starting/restarting.

Also we are not responsive for updating the plugins. As long as the author of the plugins provides a new version on dev.bukkit.org or spigotmc we also have the updated version.

We had Bevos Tech Pack before, but we removed it because it is too heavy.
It needs to much resources, and every update of it needs more.

So, i was on the server. It did not lag so far.
Maybe your client is laggy?
