24/7: Your server stays online as long as someone is actively playing on it. We don't want AFK people or people who try to keep it online without playing as it wastes resources. We could use these wasted resources to run the servers for people who really want to play instead of AFKing.
Bungeecord: Our focus is on people who want to play with their friends and not on people who want to build the next big server network.
That Bungeecord reduces RAM usage is bullshit.
Back in the days where RAM usage was bound the player count people also had to fill up every slot and slots had a maximum of 10, otherwise the server got stopped.
