If it's working for you, but not for your friend I would let your friend reinstall everything (delete the .minecraft folder)

Stop the server
Remove all players from the banned players and ips list on the players page
Start your server again

You probably changed the cracked setting on the options page recently. Try to set it back to it's original state and restart the server
