The forums cant really be translated its a pre done software
That's not quite true, the forum already supports several languages.
However, we would like to agree on a few languages so that as many people as possible can talk and communicate.
If everyone writes in his own language, there would probably be hardly any interaction because you just don't understand each other.

"not cheap" isn't right, but the effort required to provide MySQL on that scale is not worth the benefit

1) You said "mismatched mod list" is shown on the server, what's shown on the client?
2) Did he start the correct profile, the profile with forge?
3) Can you please make sure that he installs the same version of forge on the client as on the server and that there are only mod files and no forge files located in the mods folder
