There is no limit to the number of mods you can add. Can you share the link to the mod your talking about.

I'm in 1.16.5 forge 36.2.34. i open the mods section, i clicked on the install button in the mod, i open the files section, i don't see the mod is there. is there a limit to the amount of mods? i have 47 mods currently.
