They are using mods, so probably Forge.

I searched the mod by my side and actually it always gives that error, using any Minecraft version, I already reported the issue to the Aternos Team.

What message do you get? Did you try in the console?

Don't use @p, use your minecraft username.

Try using /give username command_block

Make sure command blocks is enabled in the options of your server.

What's your server software?

Any plugin related to mobs / reduce lag / or things like that?

Do you have any plugin installed?

Try using the command /gamerule doMobSpawning true in the console or ingame if you are operator.

Aternos doesn't develop/create the mods, so if a mod is broken, report it to the author. Although, Ice and Fire usually crashes a lot. The issue is already reported and apparently it's caused by the forge update, so there's nothing that Aternos can do. The solutions are use the recommended version of Forge, install an extra mod in case you get another error, or don't use the mod.
