I AM IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM ASKING FOR 24/7 SERVERS
its a thing that I've seen other server hosts have where if you request to join a server that is offline it will start up, so i know its possible and that the team can pull it off, and i could care less if you put more ads in the server list. i just want to play my world with my friends without them having to make an account for me to manually share them so they have to start it themselves. that is the one thing that i dont like about aternos.
This has already been suggested before, please use the search feature before suggesting.
Aternos depends on ads. If you don't visit the website, you don't see the ads and Aternos wouldn't get the money to host your servers.
Adding ads to Minecraft is not really the best idea because not a lot of people check the server list ads as on the website.
and if abusing the server with bots to make it 24/7 is a problem in this situation, then i guess it can be solved by making it run for a limited amount of time like 5 hrs. or something.
Running your server 24/7 is not possible because we are a 100% free service. We only have limited resources, and we want to make sure that these resources are used by active players.
Trying to circumvent that is a violation of our terms (https://aternos.org/terms) and will result in your server being suspended.

The plugin AlwaysOnline does NOT keep your server 24/7.

I'm switching my server from the really terrible minehut and it had a feature where if you joined your server, it would automatically turn on without having to go to the website. i find it annoying to go the the page every time to do it so im wondering if anyone knows of a plugin or a setting that allows this feature on aternos
You can only start your server on the website.

It will probably take a few minutes to get the Vanilla version on Aternos. Other server software (e.g. Paper, Forge, etc.): well, we can't really tell. It all depends on how long it takes for their developers to release their versions, but once they release the 1.20 support for their server software, they will be automatically updated on Aternos.

Can you please send a link to those mods on Modrinth/CurseForge? Not all Fabric mods support Quilt iirc.

my Friends forgot their email and password then make another aternos account and disturb me!!
1. You don't require an email to sign up on Aternos.
2. If they forgot the password, it's their problem... don't you think?

My 6 important backup got deleted without any reason
( support was created)Backups cannot be deleted without any reason. They can only be manually deleted by someone who has access to the Backups page.

Backups are saved in a hidden folder for application data, which allows Aternos to store backups in your Google Drive account without having access to any of your other files. You can read more about the application data folder here: https://developers.google.com/drive/api/v3/appdata.

You don't need to share your email address to share access, you only need the Aternos username.

exaroton is a paid host developed that's very similar to Aternos but offers better performance and additional features that just aren't possible on a free service.
