Then your server was not online. Start your server and when you see "Online" on the Server page, go to the console and run the command.

alex, sodium was denied by aternos, also it for the 1.13+ versions rendering it useless anyway, optifine also is very much useless towards the server, anyway
Becasue these mods are client side. I never said to install these mods on the server. Read my message again.

Try running the command in the console of your server https://aternos.org/console. Then send screenshot of the message/error that you get.
I tried to use /animals and /realisticanimals
nothing happens
/realisticanimals and /animals do not work and nothing happens

If i switch to a new server software , will all of my backups will be deleted?
No, backups are saved in your Google Drive so they can't be deleted if you switch the software. You can even delete your server, and your backups will still be there.

hello , i am new to this webstite and i have a server , i was thinking to add a plugin called realsticanimals , so when i installed it , and got in my 1.12.2 server , i did the commands and they did nothing! the plugin was green , but it wasnt working , i was very confused what was happening
"doesn't work" is not a good description of your problem. What command did you try to use?, what happened when you used that command?
i did not make the plugin its from bukkt/spigot
and i get very very high ping on my server i dont know its lagging and a plugin isnt working!!!
Ping is client side btw, but if your server is lagging, this article might help you.

That sounds more like an API which Aternos doesn't provide. But if there's a plugin for that then I don't know.

So, you use the original launcher, you tried the dynip, changing dns, etc, and didn't work, right?

You can use Magma software, it's compatible for plugins and mods, although there are also mods to connect your Aternos server with your discord server.

why was aternos forced to remove them?
As far as I know, they had to remove them to make the Geyser plugin work on Aternos servers. To be honest I'm not sure but someone told me that, I could be wrong tho.
I've been looking around for a while and cant find anything related to this. simply what i want to do is view my server status on a page that is publicly accessible. (like "aternos/iceyrazor") such as when it shows "server online" when you ping the server in the server browser.
That was available in the past, but Aternos was forced to remove them.
so is there any page such as "aternos/iceyrazor" where i can view my server status without signing in. or better a API that I can use with Java Script to get the server status? or a widget like what discord offers is cool too
There's not Aternos API at the moment. And you can use a plugin like Discord SRV to connect your Aternos server with your Discord server, this allows you to check if your server is online or not, you can make a channel for the chat, and another channel for the console, and more.
