Try removing all players from the whitelist and re-add them while the server is offline.
I'll try that. I will report if it worked or not.

Is the server cracked?
Yes it is but as far as I know cracked doesn't affect the whitelist system.

Yes, but it's still happening.

My whitelist is malfunctioning. When my friend joins he gets disconnected with a message "You are not whitelisted in this server" and after i whitelist him on both the console and the players tab (even tried editing the whitelist.json) it still wont work. I use PaperMC 1.16.5.

For javascript you can use something like https://github.com/PrismarineJS/node-minecraft-protocol to ping the server. Then just look at the MOTD/version and you'll see whether it is online or not

So a few months back I remember there was a "Server Website" option that let you see the server's IP, Status, and MOTD. But now it's gone. Any reasons why that happened? Also I am making a website for my server, how can I see the status of the server (Offline or Online)? Thank you!
