Because it's just the plugin managing the permissions. If you wanted to know Essentials' permissions nodes for example you would check Essentials' page.

Tell your friend to type /whitelist off into the server console to really make sure that the whitelist is deactivated.

Every plugin's permission nodes are individual and should be looked up at the plugin's web page.

Everyone has to wait this long. The waiting queue is there because it is necessary.

I just started your server, it seems to work fine. Do not reload the My Server page, it reloads automatically if you have JavaScript enabled in your web browser.

It depends on what CraftBukkit or Spigot version you have. You have to install a version that's compatible. Check the plugin's DevBukkit or Spigot page to find out more about compatibility.

It does work with PermissionsEX if you install the correct version and set up the plugin correctly.

As it is not possible to move files through our file browser it seems like it's not possible to use the plugin at Aternos.
