As @Roman already said make sure you have CraftBukkit or Spigot installed for the plugins to be able to work.
If some plugins still don't work check the server console log to find out why.
Make sure you set up your permissions correctly.

The official Essentials plugin only works up to version 1.7.9. Use EssentialsX or Bssentials instead.

What servers do you mean? We do not offer a server list as of now yet.

In the log it says Essentials could not be activated. Make sure you installed the correct version and it doesn't interfere with other plugins.

Check the Multiverse-Core configuration file, maybe there's something wrong with the time settings.

It is not possible to download worlds other than the main world.
