Was the world ever used on a client or server newer than 1.8.9?
Is the client you're using to connect to your server on 1.8.9?
The world file is 1.8.9, it is a Hypixel Bedwars map that I downloaded and it works on 1.8.9 in singleplayer.

I just made an Aternos server today and used a world I created in singleplayer as the world file. When I try to log into the server, it says "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: The received string length is longer than maximum allowed (47 > 32)". The server is 1.8.9 vanilla, how do I fix this?
