Command locate don't work

Hello please help me. So Im an op in my Minecraft server when i use the command locate nothing happens. How do I fix it?

No, I accidentally create a new world in the server and I tried the command locate and it works but that world is different from the first world so deleted it

how do I fix it?

do I just download the first world and put it in the worlds?

Will items in my and my friend's inventory be cleared if I put the world in worlds?
