a dependency thats apparently client sided

so a mod I wanted to try out that recently got added to aternos guns rpg is a cool mod I wanted to play which has a dependency but when I try to look for the dependency its not on aternos at all and when I tried to suggest the mod to be added the message I got was "This mod was only made for the Minecraft client and not for servers." when I have it on the client and try to start up the server the server just crashes and requests that the dependency is added before it can fully start is there anyway to resolve this issue or do I have to use something else
