Plugin Install Does Not Work For Plugins With External Downloads

    When I try to install a plugin with a "external download" (download from external urls), the html of the download url is downloaded instead of the actual plugin. This is really annoying, as it happens to many plugins such as GroupManagerX that are really basic.


    Please fix this or add the ability to add custom plugins.

    We are already aware of this problem.


    We're don't even add plugins which are only availabe through an external site.
    But sometimes the plugin creators change the download to an external site after we've added it.
    Please tell us the plugins you're facing this problem and we'll remove them.
